SundayInfo turns any screen in the building into the church's noticeboard: service times, today's plan, announcements, the weather and a verse for the season. If a device can show a web page — a TV browser, a Chromecast, a PC or a Raspberry Pi — it can show SundayInfo. Here is how to get the first screen on the wall.
1. Sign in and create your church
Open info.sundaysuite.app and sign in with your Sunday account. The first time, you create your church — and you can invite more editors later, so keeping the boards fresh never depends on one person.
2. Pair the screen
On the TV (or whatever drives it), open the screen link — a short pairing code appears on the display. From your phone or laptop, enter the code, and the screen is claimed for your church. It pairs once and never asks again; only a hashed token is stored on the device.
3. Compose the board
Choose what the screen shows: service times, today's plan, announcements, the weather, a Vipps giving QR, and a verse that follows the church year — Advent, Lent, Easter and ordinary time change the look and the verse automatically. You compose from your phone or laptop; the screen updates on its own clock.
Several editors, several screens
SundayInfo is built for teams: invite the people who should keep the boards up to date, and give each screen its own content if you like — one board in the foyer, another outside the kids' rooms. Every editor sees only your church's screens.
When the network drops
Screens keep going through an outage: a local snapshot holds the last published content on the display, and when the connection returns the screen catches up by itself. A dropped wifi should never mean a black wall on Sunday morning.
Good habits
- Put the screen where guests actually look — the foyer beats the office corridor.
- Keep announcements short. A noticeboard is read in passing, not studied.
- Check it on a Sunday. Walk past your own screen now and then — the board is for the people walking by.
