Sunday Suite is twelve tools built by one developer in Norway, in the open. The code is on GitHub under the MIT licence, the betas are free to download, and what gets built next depends on what churches and teachers say they need. Here is how to take part.
What “unfinished” honestly means
We would rather under-promise on a website than let you down on a Sunday. Here is exactly how far each tier has come:
Beta
It works, and we use it ourselves — but keep a fallback the first Sundays, and expect rough edges. Your bug report is worth gold.
In development
Real code, real progress, not ready for your service yet. Follow along, or help it get there faster.
On the drawing board
A vision and an architecture, honestly still on paper. The best time to tell us what your church needs.
The apps send nothing home unless you opt in to anonymous telemetry — so when something breaks, we usually don't know. A two-line email about what went wrong is a genuine contribution.
Seven betas you can try
Five desktop apps for Mac and Windows, two web apps in the browser — all free, no account needed for the downloads. The buttons always fetch the newest release.

Every repository, open on GitHub
All of it is MIT-licensed: read it, learn from it, run it, fork it. Each repository carries a CONTRIBUTING guide to get you started. The only thing the licence doesn't hand over is the brand — fork the code freely, but give your fork its own name.
Six ways to build with us
You don't need to be a developer — the most valuable contributions often come from the people running the projector on Sunday.
Test & report
Use a beta for something real and tell us what broke — in a GitHub issue or a plain email. This is the contribution we need most.
Write code
Rust, TypeScript, Svelte, Preact — pick a repo, open an issue to say hello, and send a pull request.
Translate
Norwegian Bokmål and Nynorsk are first-class here, and more languages are welcome — translation files are friendly territory for a first contribution.
Design
Icons, layouts, the feel of a screen in a dark church — if you have the eye, the suite has the canvas.
Improve the guides
The help section is written for volunteers, not developers. If a guide confused you, that's a bug — tell us or rewrite it.
Tell us what you need
The roadmap is shaped by real churches. Two sentences about your Sunday morning can change what gets built next.
How we work
Bugs and ideas go in a GitHub issue on the repo in question, or to [email protected] if GitHub isn't your thing. Every repository carries a CONTRIBUTING guide with the specifics. There is no ticket robot and no call centre — every message lands with the person who wrote the code, and every one gets an answer.
